Veterinarians
A native of Queens, NY, general practitioner Dr. Neil Bloom has been keeping pets healthy at St. Georges Veterinary Hospital since 1993.
Dr. Bloom now lives in central New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University and was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1988. His veterinary education brought him to Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Dr. Bloom's professional interests include general surgery and internal medicine.
Dr. Bloom is a member of the Metropolitan Veterinary Medical Association, the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He also volunteers with the Boxer Angels Rescue and is proud to have adopted Mocha, his Boxer, from the group.
Dr. Bloom's newest family member is a French Bulldog named Abby. Other four-legged family members include Mocha, Chloe, a Boxer, and Molly, a Boston Terrier. When he's not at the hospital, Dr. Bloom enjoys playing guitar, playing softball, skiing with his wife and practicing martial arts with his son and daughter. He currently holds a 4th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. An avid outdoorsman, he can often be found riding his bicycle, running or hiking.
